Lawsuit Loans to be Legal in Ohio on August 28th

In a move that overturned previous rulings by the Ohio Supreme Court as recently as 2003, the Ohio Legislature and Governor Strickland approved House Bill 248 on May 28th, 2008, which will allow for “lawsuit loans”–technically lawsuit funding–to be available to Ohio plaintiffs as of August 28th, 2008.

This will allow plaintiffs to make the choice whether or not they get lawsuit funding rather than be barred from getting funding.

I’ve had to see way to many people from Ohio get rejected for lawsuit funding, which is never fun to do since our clients are often in a position wheret they really need the money.  Well, now we can finally approve these folks for the money they need, which makes us very happy!

If you’ve got a civil lawsuit in Ohio and you want a lawsuit loan, just fill out the form to the right or go to this page on Ohio Lawsuit Loans to find out more.

Thanks,

Jason
